Shipping:

Shipping is normally via USPS.Over many years we've found this to be the least costly and quite reliable. 

Turnaround time:

Many of our kits are hand made to your order...if the item you want is not in stock ready to ship this can take a few days or in cases where we are swamped it can take a week, sometimes two. Smaller items we keep in stock as much as possible for immediate shipment.

As you may have guessed, this is not Amazon....your order will go out as quickly as possible buit it will not reach you overnight. If you are in a hurry, such as arranging a gift for someone special, please call us at (530) 876-9900 M-F and we will do everything we can to make it happen. If we can't do it, we'll tell you.

Returns:

If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you can return it ( unaltered please) within 30 days for a refund less postage.You are responsible for return postage.

Privacy:

We will not sell or rent out your address or email , or anything else relating to our customers privacy. We do not store credit card numbers .You will note this new website does not ask you to create an account...accounts can be hacked, that's why we don't process your card number on site. In nearly a decade of use, we have never had a problem with Paypal.You do not need a Paypal account to use our store, they act only as a card processor.

Spare parts:

If you run into trouble and need parts for your model, please email or call. We will be happy to help in any way we can. All model builders know the Carpet Monster never sleeps.

Phone calls / phone orders

If you really, really don't want to use the Paypal checkout, feel free to call us and we can manually process your credit card here on our secure terminal.The number will not be stored here.

If you need advice on a model building issue, chances are we can help.Please bear in mind that most of the day we're working, so we can't stay on the phone for too long.
